Does the hotel have a car park? caret-down

Wivenhoe House Hotel provides free onsite parking for all our guests, please register your vehicle number at reception when you arrive.

What is your policy regarding cancellations? caret-down

We understand plans change, so with our flexible rate you can cancel your bedroom booking by 12pm the day of arrival. Advanced purchase rates are non-refundable and non-transferable. Group bookings will have their own cancelation policy depending on the number of rooms booked.

Can I make a special request with my reservation? caret-down

We would love to help make your stay at Wivenhoe House Hotel extra special, whatever you need. From a twin-bedded room, a time for dinner or to have a bottle of Champagne ready in the room for a special occasion, your wish is our command. Charges may apply.

What time is late check-out? caret-down

Who doesn’t love a long lay in sometimes, so our normal checkout time is 11am, however when we have availability, we can offer a late check-out up to 5:00pm for a surcharge 

Do I need to pay a deposit when booking a room? caret-down

Who wants to spend their money before they have to, therefore we do not take a deposit for individual flexible rate bookings, we just ask for your card details to secure your booking. We know you may also like to have food, or a tipple or two while you are here, so we ask for a swipe of your card on arrival so you can charge things to your room. 

Does the hotel cater for guests with accessibility needs? caret-down

We understand that not everyone finds it as easy as others, therefore the hotel is fully accessible to all. From wheelchair access to the left of the main entrance, accessible parking at the front of the hotel, lifts to all floors, accessible rooms, and vibrating pillows for those with impaired vision. 

Is the hotel child friendly? caret-down

We love little people and much as the big people, our Luxury Rooms, and some of our Deluxe Rooms can cater for families of up to 2 adults and two children, we also have interconnecting rooms if you have a bigger family. A £15 per child supplement applies on all B&B rates. 

Is smoking permitted inside the hotel? caret-down

Smoking is not allowed in the hotel or bedrooms, there are many areas in the grounds outside to smoke.

Dining

Do you cater for food allergies and intolerances? caret-down

Food allergies and intolerances are no longer unique but part of everyday life, so our chefs are trained in all the important things related to food safety, please just let us know prior to arrival for any specific preferences.

Is the Brasserie dog-friendly? caret-down

Wivenhoe House Hotel welcomes your furry friends in selected rooms, public areas, and grounds for a small surcharge. Not all our guest love dogs as much as we do, so they are not able to dine with you in brasserie restaurant, however, we do have a covered outside dining available. 

Can I purchase vouchers for your Brasserie Restaurant? caret-down
