EXCLUSIVE WEDDING & SPECIAL EVENTS SHOWCASE
Are you planning a wedding or special occasion? On Sunday, 12 May between 10am – 1.30pm we’ll be hosting our very first Wedding & Special Event Showcase in partnership with luxury venue décor company Decorative Events.
The Decorative Events team will be transforming our venue with thrones, sparkle, flowers and a dusting of magic. If you are looking for a venue or just decor inspiration, we hope to see you there.
BIG NAMES
Colchester is hosting some of the UK’s leading music stars over the summer, including concerts by Tom Jones, Paul Young, Craig David, Tears for Fears and UB40. Why not make a break of it and stay at Wivenhoe House, giving you ample opportunity to explore the historic town and its attractive surrounding areas?
FUN AT THE HOUSE
Top quality entertainment is also the name of the game at Wivenhoe House this summer. We’re delighted to be hosting a Fawlty Towers Dinner on Friday 14 June and a glamorous Moet Champagne dinner on Saturday 13 July as part of our exciting calendar of events for the year.
SOCIAL SUNDAY
Kick back and relax at the first ever Wivenhoe House Social Sunday on 7 July. We’re turning our beautiful grounds over to fun and games to raise money for Hospitality Action, the charity for workers in the hospitality industry, and everyone is welcome.
ALLERGY AWARENESS WEEK
As part of the recent Allergy Awareness Week, we chatted with chef Jack and Abbie, an Edge Hotel School student, about coping with allergies when you are dining out. Listen in for some useful advice.
JAZZ UP YOUR BANK HOLIDAY
We’re laying on something extra special for Bank Holiday Monday 27 May. Good Time Jazz will be performing popular Jazz tunes in our gazebo bandstand while our guests enjoy our delicious Prosecco afternoon tea and relax to the music. What better way to enjoy a Bank Holiday?
