July Newsletter

To get everything organised for Christmas!  Here at Wivenhoe House we have chosen our party theme, selected our Christmas crackers and finalised the menus. All the details of our celebrations are now available. We’re heading to the North Pole with our Arctic theme party nights, some of which have already been sold out, so get your skates on!

Our Friday fish nights continue to be popular in the brasserie. Taking place on the first Friday of every month, start with a glass of fizz on arrival before helping yourself to our extensive seafood buffet to start. Then choose from a selection of main courses before squeezing in one of our delicious desserts.

If a staycation is on the cards for this summer, we have some sizzling offers for you. Essex has more than 350 miles of coastline and the resorts of Clacton, Walton-on-the-Naze, Mersea and Frinton are just half an hour away from Wivenhoe House hotel. So you can enjoy the pleasure of the British beach resort and the tranquillity of parkland in one holiday.

Things are hotting up on the music scene at Wivenhoe House on  Bank Holiday Monday 27 August when Good Time Jazz will be taking us back to the golden Jazz era of the 1920s and 1930s while afternoon tea is served in our beautiful grounds. Tickets are now available for this glorious afternoon.

We’re hoping for sunshine on Sunday 9 September when we open up our grounds for Heritage Open Day, inviting artists to take up their easels and follow in the footsteps of John Constable.
