Gerry Hill MBE QGM + Bar will be talking through some of his experiences in the British Army whilst enjoying a five course dinner in our Signatures restaurant.

Wivenhoe House was home to the SAS during two major conflicts of the 20th Century, this five course dinner will take place in this historic setting with an after dinner speech from Gerry Hill MBE QGM + Bar.
Gerry Hill MBE QGM + Bar spent just short of 45 years in the British Army, the last 34 of which were served in 22 Special Air Service Regiment. A renowned after dinner speaker, Gerry will be talking through some of his experiences in the setting of the historical Signatures lounge.
During this time Gerry received four gallantry awards – two Queen’s Gallantry Medals (QGM) and two Mention in Dispatches (MID) as well as a Member of the British Empire medal (MBE) and a Commander in Chief Commendation (CINC) for valuable service. Showcasing the knowledge and experience Gerry gained during his time in the army, however, he now focuses on the welfare support for the men and women of our Armed Forces, the latter years of his service enabled him to see the value of this support when they leave the service.
