Day one
Relax in our elegant lounges overlooking the manicured lawns whilst enjoying our renowned afternoon tea. In the evening your first three course set menu dinner awaits you in our contemporary brasserie restaurant.
Day two
Start the day at your leisure with our full English Breakfast delivered to your door or served in our brasserie restaurant. Then head out to Beth Chatto Gardens in Elmstead Market. Covering 6 acres, the famous gardens began in 1960 and are home to a wide variety of plants. In the evening, return to the brasserie for a three course dinner.
Day three
Again enjoy a full English breakfast before heading off to Green Island Gardens in Ardleigh. Recommended by Great British Gardens, these professional gardens display a huge range of unusual trees. There are also seaside, Japanese, gravel and woodland gardens meaning there is plenty to see. Join us in the brasserie in the evening for your final three course dinner.
Day four
Before checking out prepare for your journey home with our full English breakfast. If you have time it is worth squeezing in a vist to Castle Park in Colchester Town where you can find museums, gardens and Colchester Castle, the largest Norman Keep in Europe.

Subject to availability; rate based double occupancy in a standard room on dinner bed and breakfast basis; allowance for dinner in the brasserie is £25 per person .One afternoon tea per person, and one ticket each to both Beth Chatto and Green Island Gardens is also included in the rate. Please note the gardens have individual opening times and seasons. Valid Monday through to Sunday night only. Price based on double occupancy. Tickets for Colchester Castle are not included in the price.
