2 Hours – Geocache and Navigation Skills – (Physical effort 2/5)
The team will be coached in the skills needed to keep everyone together, avoid getting lost, read a map and understand how to use tech in supporting map skills – this will genuinely equip you with the basics for navigating in a mountain, wild or forest environment. We will include a few challenges and maybe even find some treasure.
We can include along the way if you wish: Nature therapy taster, tree identification, and maybe even a cheeky forage depending on what we stumble across. + 1 Hour)
2 Hours – Survival Skills – (Physical effort 2/5)
Before you start we test or moral code? Who gets to survive?
Then sit on 4 demonstrations – Shelter Build, Fire Lighting, Water Filtration/Purification, Wild Food* Prep. Be Warm, Drink and Eat!
The Demonstrations are 5 Minutes each. You will then break into small teams (still all together) and take the 1 Hour Survival Challenge – Can you do everything you just saw in this time and save yourself and friends?
*Wild food will be that: depending on what is available at the time this could be Bird, Beast or fish. We can happily add in a vegan, dietary and Halal friendly alternative option if required.
2 Hours – Advanced Fire Lighting – (Physical effort 3/5)
This is about starting a sustainable fire using a ferro rod (fire striker like you see Bear Grylls use) then re-igniting a fire with an ember – then start a fire with traditional flint and steel – Then if the team has progressed well start a team friction fire using bow drill. (FIRE IS NOT GUARANTEED, TEAM WORK IS)
2 Hours – Whittling and green woodcraft intro – (Physical effort 1/5)
Using Saw, Axe and Knives you will become the master of your tools. First making your very own wooden mallet and try stick you will move onto carving your very own wooden item (knife, tent peg, spatula etc). You will leave with your self-crafted items and the perfect skill-set to supply your family with BBQ and kitchen tools instead of buying presents.
2 Hours – Target Sports (Physical effort 2/5)
Choosing two of the following; Archery, Axe Throwing and or even Spear Throwing, you will have time to learn how to focus your aim and hit the target where you want every-time These sessions are supported with good coaching to help improve your skills. You will get to have a friendly test in each where you will compete as two teams against each other.
1 – 3 Hours – Initiative Team Challenges (Physical effort 1/5 – 5/5)
Here you can use various challenges to forge happy memories or crumble and rebuild a team with leadership development. What ever your angle required we have the skills to take your team for fun and enjoyment, improve the Exec-boards communication skills to an in depth project Strength Finder review. Challenges range from low impact activities such as gutter tube and leaky tube to full first aid evacuation scenarios.
2 Hours – Stress Management and mindfulness development (Physical effort 2/5)
Nature walk with mindfulness activities to bring out the inner calm and reconnect to nature – Learn to light and enjoy a small leave no trace fire and toast some team marshmallows while focusing on entering the mind and discussion how to manage those demons. You can even enjoy an 30 min Thai Chi session to really open the whole body to calm.
Whole Day mix and match (Physical effort 1/5 – 5/5)
You can see the rough length of time for various adventures above – you can bolt a few together to embrace the development, mindful and enjoyment for all of your team.
