Salary: £15,018 per annum

Wivenhoe House Hotel, a 4 star country house hotel is currently recruiting for a Housekeeper. Following an extensive, £11million refurbishment, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to join our team in a busy and challenging environment which includes a combination of rooms and luxury suites, a 45 cover fine dining restaurant, 110 cover Brasserie and 120 cover banqueting and conference facilities.

The successful candidates will be required to clean rooms, change bed linen and towels, etc and to undertake cleaning duties throughout the Hotel to an exacting standard. If you have previous housekeeping experience, can work flexibly, have a good eye for detail and can deliver excellent customer service this could be the opportunity for you to be part of this unique and exciting operation.

Commis Chef

Salary range: £14,583-£15,018 per annum

We are looking to recruit a Commis Chef for this superb 4 star Country House Hotel with a modern Brasserie serving creative modern cuisine in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a quality hotel and to start your career working with our talented Executive Chef.

As a Commis Chef you will have previous experience of food preparation, knowledge of equipment and a good command of culinary basics as well as a passion for delivering high quality food.
