The perfect venue for your wedding day

Bridal boutique

We understand that brides are regularly bombarded with invite after invite to wedding shows, open days and exhibitions. We have therefore endeavoured to offer something truly unique.

In partnership with a handful of small local businesses we have designed an intimate evening in which you can explore ideas for your dream wedding.

The idea was born having met with Charlotte Reeves from The Bridal Lounge, and Lauren Sanders from LBS Images. To represent our partnership, we did a fun photoshoot on Valentine's Day 2014.

We combined Lauren's elegant range of wedding gowns, with the Wivenhoe House Conference and Events team, all beautifully photographed by Lauren, in our stunning venue.

Instead of creating another typical wedding show in which brides are overloaded with information, we have invited only five suppliers to ensure that you will have the chance to talk to each supplier and to have any questions answered. Each supplier will be offering advice, tips and trials!

  • Award winning photographer, Laurent Sanders of LBS Images
  • Bridal Couture, from Charlotte Reeves of The Bridal Lounge
  • Florist Marion of Poppies Designer Flowers.
  • Hair and make up artist.
  • Experienced blogger, Gina, of Bewildered Bride will also be on hand to answer any questions and to offer expert planning advice.

Having understood that not all brides have the time to attend multiple weddings fairs on Saturdays and Sundays, our event will take place on a week night: Thursday 24 April 2014, from 4.00 until 9.00pm.

In true Wivenhoe House style, we will of course be providing nibbles. Our suppliers also will be providing lots of opportunities of explore and trial.

We look forward to welcoming you to our event.

Sales Co-ordinator, Chelsey Armstrong Trigg
Marketing Officer, April Hatcher
Conferernce and Events Manager, Charley Brooker
